The Rainbow Painter took brush in hand,
Began to dabble above the Land.
In skies of misty, rainy blue,
He placed his brushes down and drew, An arching wave across the sky,
Above the Earth the Mountains high.
And then he took his paints of red,
Colored a streak, a pink instead.
And then he made another green,
Another yellow, in his altered scene. Until there was the brightest glow
Above the earth, his crayoned show!
