Christmas Snows

As I walk through Christmas snow alone
I lift my face to the skies.
Tiny snowflakes dust my cheeks,
I stop and close my eyes.

I listen to soft sounds of Christmas,
Snow falling from the trees.
The silent night surrounds me
and drops me to my knees.

I wish upon the stars above 
That someone hears my pleas.
This Christmas spirit so full of love
I wish the world to seize.

Hold the magic in your heart
For it is very dear.
Not just now at Christmas time
But all throughout the year.
