How Hunnie And Sunnie
Became the Sunnie BunnieZZ

Our bungalow overlooked the bay,
where the sun was now, setting
as we made our way
to some rocks nearby.
We sat, I with the book in my lap,
looking up at the sky.
Pointing to Sundrop Hill,
I asked, Sunnie!
"Can you see that faint crooked cross
at the hill's peak like a T?
That is, what once was
the Great Mann Elder Tree!"

I had just finished speaking,
when it suddenly seemed
some of the sun's setting rays
beamed down and streamed
along the gold edges
of the books pages
till they glistened and gleamed.

Amazed by their glow,
I now, thought I knew why
Sunnie felt about this book as he did,
for so to now, did I.
