Sandy Sandman
came to say,
That it was time to rest from play,
And in rainbow robes of majesty,
He waved his lantern way 'bove me,
And sprinkled down about my room,
In the sleeping silence of the gloom,
His pixie dust of blue and gold,
His lovely colors bright and bold,
Until my room was all aglow,
With splashing colors that seemed to grow,
Into one brilliant, enchanted moonbeam,
Of fantasy and sweet candied dreams.
