Back in our den, once again, I began:
"Twenty-one years ago,
Sundrop Hill was alive,
with  flowers, fairies and butterflies.
Wrapped up in sunshine,
like a sun drop spilt from the sky,
this fairy hill enchanted our lives!
The Great Mann Elder Tree too,
was thriving then
with budding leaves
and climbing limbs.
Everything, breathing, basking in
sunlight's  golden glow.
Up until that fateful night,
two decades ago,
when something broke through the sky
and from then until now,
the hill and the tree
seemed to lose hope and die!
Now, only a thicket of dense thorns
grows there
with a big sign that says
'Keep Out, Bunnies Beware!'
